You will never believe this! Apparently Delta has installed Delta Comfort+ (TM) seats on CRJ200s! No really. Look at my seat and my upgrade to 1A in C+ on a CRJ200. I am in shock (no not really because it is just an IT mess up but gosh it is funny, right).
One reader on twitter said they should make the first two rows on CRJ200s to get free drinks. I like that idea. But for now, check your flights as mine changed and I bet some of yours did as well (see these posts):
The interesting one for me was that my changes were NOT time changes but regional partner airline changes. Here is the deal, if you are no longer flying the airline you booked on then you can change or cancel free. I chose to change to a later flight that would have been a TON more SkyMiles to fly but was a free change due to the change in carrier. #Winning!
Speaking of winning, let’s give away 10 HOOU coupons to 5 winners thanks to a very kind reader, Craig who sent me a HUGE stack of them. That is 5 winners will EACH get 2 Delta “Have One On Us” coupons good to the end of the year. I will use Random.org to pick the winners and you can enter only ONCE per IP address and you must live the USA. I will pick the winner tomorrow night i.e. Sunday night the 13th. To win just answer YES or NO (either is fine) if you knew that a change in carrier means that you are allowed to change your Delta flights free! Have fun – René
EDIT: No more entries our winners are: 5, 28, 62, 19 & 8! I will email the winners soon. Rene

Random question: are Delta Dollars from VDB just like cash? I mean, if I have an award ticket with a $5.60 cash component, could I cover that with Delta Dollars? Or are there lots of restrictions? I’m in a “redeem only” time of my life but there are taxes and fees to be paid.
