What a huge change from last year when I think it was sometime in MAY when I, at long last, got my elite goodies from Delta.
BTW before we go too much farther, Silvers, you don’t get one anymore. You can print what you need on Delta.com. And yes, I know, there are many reports of folks earning Gold or some other level toward the end of last year and they did not get new credentials yet. I have no idea why that is. But, for now, here is what I got.
I got a nice letter from Sandeep Dube from SkyMiles telling me, not just once in the letter, but also in BOLD at the end that I will soon have access to digital HOOU or have one on us coupons. I both like and dislike this. I like it that they are in the app and I can pull them up any time I want in-flight without digging in my bag for paper. I don’t like it if I cannot still print the digital ones and give them to someone else if I want. Looking forward to testing HERE on Delta.com.
The “Brag Tags” or as we call them (since they are metal) Diamond cow bells are just the same as last year. I now have a large collection of them in a drawer and will maybe one day sell them on Ebay or something like that.
To me the MOST IMPORTANT part is the JWD or Job Well Done certs that I love giving out to Delta people who help me either live or on the phone or on Delta Assist. I wish I got 8 or 12 of them but once again this year we get just 4. I have asked over and over year after year for more, but those requests have fallen on deaf ears sad to say.
Anyway, not much new here to see other than the digital HOOUs that as of yesterday were NOT in my Fly Delta APP. Maybe we will see them after 1FEB16 when the new medallion year begins! – René

I’m sure those of us that are within purchase distance of the next level won’t see credentials until after Jan 31. After all, some may decide to pay the 2 or 3 thousand dollars to move up from PL to Diamond. Not me, but I’m working on my mileage runs to get diamond status early this year instead of late.
I was on a Twitter chat with DL today and they told me that Gold no longer get a physical card either now. When I go to the ‘reorder’ screen my only option is to print my own. This sux because Turkish won’t status match without a physical card 🙁
@James Ward – OUCH that is another big downgrade. Sigh. #KeepDescending 2016 is here! Txs for letting me know.
I got my Delta Diamond Medallion 2016 in the mail this week, nice heavy package, we’ll see how this years goes…..
@James Ward: If it makes you feel any better, even PL can no longer order a physical card. In the wallet, the only option is to print it. Delta never sent me the welcome package and they insist they mailed it (been 6 months now). After 2-3 emails back and forth I have given up on receiving the physical card.
What does it now take to hit 360 circle again?
300k MQM and over $70,000 and no renewal.
Huh???
@Nathan – Well over $50k MQD spend per year and maybe as high as 75k+
Rene,
I waited until today, Feb 1, new medallion year, to write to you. I also received my DM package in the mail last week with the letter telling me my HOOU coupons are not electronic. I looked last week and they were not there and today they are still not there. So my question to you and your loyal readers is, do you see your electronic HOOU coupons in your wallet?
Thanks, Scott
@Scott – I want to know as well. https://twitter.com/RenesPoints/status/694144916046417920
The HOOU vouchers appear in the desktop version of my Fly Delta app (in the My Wallet section as vouchers.) They do not show up in the mobile app as far as I can tell. And I looked! However, it does appear that you can print them from the desktop.
