First class (yes, Delta 1st class that is business class) runs are not for everyone but this one works and fits into my 2015 maximums for posting.
I like that you can do the run all in just one day, get lunch twice (once to Denver and once from Denver). Add a 24hr GoGo mobile pass for $8 and this is not that bad of a way to spend a Saturday.
It looks like there are a number of open dates you could run this either weekday or weekend. Here are the numbers I found routing via ATL both ways for max MQMs and best yield:
Cost $495 in 1st class
5,442 MQMs at 9.1CPM
Bookable on Delta.com via ATL x2
If you have a Delta voucher you need to burn or is about to expire this could be a great way to have a low-stress Elite Mileage Run. Runs are always better all in 1st class. Heck why not UBER back and forth to the airport so you don’t have to stress that either 🙂
