I mentioned last month that now is the best time to status match / challenge with Delta since it gives you the longest time as an elite after you earn your challenge. Well, there is an amazing run I found from Hawaii in 1st class for under 7CPM that can earn your challenge on just ONE weekend trip. Sure you have to get to Hawaii to start this but a few days in the islands on either side of the run does not sound all that bad to me! 😉
The next one is the latest 5000 point Skybonus deal for July. It is 5k that has been, for the most part, the norm for a long time. I hope Delta will bring back some of the larger Skybonus deals they had in the past, but for now this is it.
TopCashBack is down to 2% for now on gift cards and the less than reliable BigCrumbs is 1.8% but BeFrugal is paying out 2.5% and seems to the be current best since the Barclays Arrival shopping portal is not playing along for now. ICYMI I would avoid all discount codes as they currently tend to void the cash back. You should have no problem with the “free” aka $99/yr shipping option if you have paid for that as it is not a code.
Lastly you still have a little over a day for a shot at a free ticket and hotel for the sold out Chicago Seminars 2014. I cannot wait to see so many old and new faces this year at the top frequent flyer event each year!
