We all know that Delta jets are eager to get into the sky. That is after all where they live and want to be. There are few things in life as fun as soaring through the skies on a Delta jet!

I am surprised that the jetway appears to remain attached. Two incidents come to mind.
Once a pilot was showing a group the inside of a company plane, the plane began to tilt as the entire group went to the back and the pilot shouted “To the front! Run!.”
The other was on Britt Airways, and the pilot requested my briefcase to put in the nose of the plane – “to balance the aircraft.”
