This one is SO NOT ME as I would pay not to spend this much time in coach but I at least wanted to let you know about this trip. A big hat tip to a new poster man4business on the Mileage Run board at FlyerTalk.
It looks like you can search and book via many sites and most of them “should” give you credit toward Delta if you wish. Be careful with this run as there are many stops, issues and things that could go wrong.
For me I want to book domestic and hope for upgrades but this could be a cheap, fun, round the world trip! – René

Rene, Thanks for posting this. I would be interested in more international coach trips. Although I enjoy those nice domestic upgrades, I have only seven more months to earn as many miles as possible before getting hammered by skymiles 2015.
@john – be sure to follow the DeltaMileagRun.com blog for so many more deals!
Ugh…Philippine Airlines on the last leg? I wouldn’t even wish this airline on my worst enemy…and I’m Filipino! This is a great deal esp for RTW, but like you, I’d rather fly around the country and heaven forbid anything ever went wrong, I’d be in the US.
@glbetrkkr – HA! Thanks for your input. This would be for the adventurous type of flyer. I am not that brave (where is my wine and caviar btw)! 😉
