If you are like me, you hate waiting in lines at the airport! Here are some awesome ways to you can get to where you want to go faster!
Global Entry is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. You have to submit to a background check, but being able to swipe your passport at the kiosk and zip through customs is really awesome. SmartGate which is a simple way for eligible travelers arriving into Australia’s international airports to self-process through passport control is now available to US Global Entry members (btw if you got in on the great 100k AMEX Platinum Membership Rewards deal this week, keep in mind if you pay with this card they will rebate the fee back to you). – globalentry.gov
TSA Pre✓™ allows select frequent flyers of participating airlines and members of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Trusted Traveler programs who are flying on participating airlines, to receive expedited screening benefits during domestic travel. Eligible participants use dedicated screening lanes for screening benefits which include leaving on shoes, light outerwear and belts, as well as leaving laptops and 3-1-1 compliant liquids in carry-on bags. Global Entry, Delta frequent flyers and Lowes Hotels loyalty members are a few participants eligible to apply. – tsa.gov

Ever have your flight cancelled while at the airport and there is a mile of angry fliers in line ahead of you to be re-accommodated? If you used a travel agent to make your original arrangements just give them a call. If not you will probably get taken care of quicker by calling the airline. Hate that hard of hearing annoying automated person and navigating through ten minutes of prompts? – Gethuman.com

Other time savers;
* If you don’t have Medallion status, or the Delta Gold/Platinum/Reserve card you can purchase travel options now offered that allow you priority boarding & more.
* Try to Print your boarding passes the night before, or if possible send your boarding passes to your smart phone.
* Remember Passengers 12 and under are able to leave their shoes on and those 75 and over can leave shoes and light jackets on while going through security checkpoints.

Good stuff. On an unrelated note, I assume you have seen the new Delta iPhone/iPad app update(dated 1/11/13) that is now actually useful(booking etc..)?
