This weekend has been so much fun. Rick, THE Frugal Travel Guy, and his gang, have put on an amazing event. MJ on Travel and so many other BoardingArea bloggers have shared priceless info on points and miles.
Yours truly had a great Delta breakout session along with Rapid Travel Chai, also from boarding area, and the brilliant John Nielsen know as fti on Flyer Talk. We talked AMEX financial review tips, how to get more Delta upgrades and the unpublished Delta phone numbers! I guess I have to agree there are reasons to make the time to come to the #Chicagoseminars each and every year!
Anyone else going to be buying tickets the day they go on sale next year? – Rene

I will!
And I think I convinced my wife to as well.

Wholeheartedly agree-great info and great people. Sign me up for next year looking forward to it. Such a pleasure meeting you and Lisa!
@BothofUs2 – Us too! What a uber-kool group of like minded travel
nutsenthusiasts – ReneWould have like to have attended, but these things always seem to conflict with college football games for which I’m a season ticket holder.
Thanks for your help this weekend with registration and the Delta moderated forum. I’m looking forward to your first seminar presentation next year with FTI.

@Rick – MY thanks for all you do for us all. It was a great weekend and and not wait for next year! – Rene
I came late to the game and the seminar was sold out, never mind that I could get one from someone who could not go, they were made non transferrable. I saw a post doing the math from for open rooms versus the no shows. I am not sure the host hotel would appreciate that! But…
Are there more around the country and where can i find a list of seninars
@Mark – the event was 100%+ sold out. Any more and it would have been over fire code capacity! If you check BoardingArea.com now and then or google for Frequent Traveler University and check the ComuityBuzz on Flyertalk you will be able to see most of them.
PS the open rooms was not due to people not going, but doing mattress runs for status etc. I will blog about that myself soon! 😉
Thanks I will. But there were a few noshows that PM’d me I could buy their ticket because they could not attend. But the powers that be didnt really didnt want to allow it. So it would not have been have been over fire code;)
