There are days when I just want to pull my hair out when I log on to Delta.com (I know, I know, don’t say it)! My tiny rant today is about how Delta tends to put your First and Middle name in the same box on Delta.com. Go look for yourself and see if that is not the case for you!
You get there with: Skymiles/Manage My Account/Manage Profile then go to bottom of page!
I logged in to Lisa’s account just to make sure the Trusted Travel number was correct. What did I find. Just what I described above. So, I moved her middle name to the right box, verified the TT # (see the video above) and saved the info.
I did have in the Skybonus number for her as an employee of my computer firm, but that does not help make TSA checkpoints any faster. You can get the GOES and TSA PRE $100 fee paid for as a benefit of the AMEX Platinum card if you don’t want to pay it yourself as well as free lounge access when you fly ANY airline!
So if you do ONLY one thing today – log in to Delta.com and check your settings. I am happy I did – René

Rene, I have two ecerts I can’t redeem online because Delta.com says that my name does not match the ecert traveler name. What?! So frustrating. Does moving my middle initial help? Just fyi, i am TSA pre check and even with my middle initial in with my first name, I have gotten TSA pre check every single time it is available so its obviously not hindering me. So I’ve got that going for me.
