There are currently two business card offers circulating with targeted bonuses of up to 300,000 points and 200,000 points.
If you’re eligible for both, that’s up to half a million points on the table.
As High As 300,000 Points: The Business Platinum® Card from American Express
The Business Platinum Card® from American Express offers new members the opportunity to earn as high as 300,000 bonus Membership Rewards® points after you spend $20,000 on eligible purchases with the Business Platinum Card within the first three (3) months of being approved for card membership. Welcome offers vary and you may not be eligible for an offer. Terms apply..
There are no guarantees you’ll get the 300k offer. You can review your exact offer before submitting your application. If you don’t like it, there’s no obligation to proceed.
For what it’s worth, we value Amex points at about 1.5 cents. That’s pretty much in the middle of most estimates and pretty conservative. That makes this offer worth up to $4,500 (by our math).
Key benefits for the Amex Business Platinum Card include:
- Access to the Global Lounge Collection:
- Centurion Lounges, Centurion Studios, and Centurion Sidecars

As High As 200,000 Points: American Express® Business Gold Card
I know a bunch of people who really like this card. They reap hundreds of thousands of points each year.
The American Express® Business Gold Card offers new members as high as 200,000 bonus Membership Rewards® points after you spend $15,000 on eligible purchases with the Business Gold Card within the first three (3) months of being approved for card membership. Welcome offers vary and you may not be eligible for an offer. Terms apply.
It doesn’t come with the bells and whistles the Amex Business Platinum does (airport lounges, Fine Hotels + Resorts, etc.). But to be honest, this has a better points-earning structure than the Business Platinum Card:
- 4X Membership Rewards points on the two (2) eligible categories on which your business spends the most each billing cycle, on up to $150,000 in combined purchases from these categories each calendar year (then 1X thereafter). Only the top 2 categories each billing cycle will count towards the $150,000 cap. These are the current eligible categories:
- U.S. restaurants, including takeout and delivery
- Online, television, and radio advertising from U.S. media providers
- Purchases directly from U.S. electronic goods retailers or software and cloud system providers
- U.S. gas stations
- Superstores, supermarkets, and warehouse clubs that sell gasoline are not considered gas stations
- Transit purchases
- Includes trains, taxi cabs, rideshare services, ferries, tolls, parking, buses, and subways
- U.S. wireless telephone services charges
- 3X on flights and prepaid hotels booked on amextravel.com
- 1X on all other eligible purchases
You may earn up to $20 in statement credits each month when using the card for eligible U.S. purchases at FedEx, Grubhub, and office supply stores. That can save you up to $240 annually. (Enrollment is required.)
Plus, its annual fee is significantly lower: $375 (See Rates and Fees).

Final Approach
Two Amex business cards offer huge welcome bonuses right now.
A combined opportunity like this has the potential to unlock a huge number of points — but only if you’re targeted and can meet the required spend.
If that’s you, it’s worth taking a few minutes to check your offers and run the numbers. Even one of these elevated bonuses could be valuable.
