It’s so hard to read your posts! With the pop ups and other ads that appear I usually just give up trying to read your post. I may just give up on you completely!
Thanks for the feedback, Donna. Ads are what pay for the costs of keeping the blog hosted, the domain names paid for, and everything else technical. And if we’re lucky, we get a little money for our time — but it’s certainly not a living.
People have suggested we charge a subscription model for the site in exchange for no ads. That’s kind of a last resort for two reasons: 1) the customer service and technical aspects are too time consuming and expensive and 2) a lot of us points-and-miles enthusiasts learned from sites that didn’t charge us a penny to read them. We’d apply for credit cards through their sites because they got a commission (that usually isn’t close to what people assume it is). I want to keep this “free” as long as I can afford to keep the blog going.
If you still need to give up on us, I wish you well.
@Donna – Thanks for reading. May I ask… How many travel cards have you applied for from our links?
