What an insane week this has been (for me). I started my trip home from the Norwegian VIVA on Saturday Morning – I got home at Midnight Monday night. My gosh I suffered a number of Delta related issues but more on that in the week to come. First up the week that was on the blog:
The current Delta elite program is based on spend or MQDs, that is, Medallion® Qualifying Dollars not how far or how many miles you fly. So a week ago I stepped of the Norwegian VIVA after have just spent 15 days onboard crossing the Atlantic again. How was it? Well check out my introductory post in this trip review to give you an idea.
Also as part of my amazing sailing I had to get myself to Lisbon Portugal to join the ship. I flew there the way everyone does? That is, via Mexico City! Why in the world would I do this and what was the point? Yeah it was all about points.
Lastly on the, err, plate this week we have the new 5x categories for this very popular travel card. Be sure to register ASAP because it is easy to forget and miss out on big points for the quarter.
