I have really been enjoying exploring all kinds of airline choices for my coming cruise vacations, that is, getting to the port cities and no longer being Skyteam focused has been so interesting. I will be flying more different airlines than ever over the next two years and look forward to sharing the experience. Speaking of sharing look at the week that was here on the blog:
If you haven’t noticed flights are still really full and the weather has been, shall we say, interesting this summer. All of this means if you have flexible travel plans you can harvest some nice bump vouchers. Here are some tips if you are a Delta flyer.
The “baby” Airbus A220 has really been a huge hit and especially so for Delta Air Lines as they will soon have over 100 of the birds. That is assuming Airbus Industries does not decide this money losing jet is no longer worth producing and or for Delta that the Trump tariffs do not mean the orders are done.
The rules are starting to change when it comes to airport security screening. If, in the near future, you are able to keep your shoes, belts and such on and even leave water bottles and laptops in your bag then why pay for TSA PreCheck? Chris shares why he is keeping it.
What are all the differences between the Amex Platinum card and the Delta Platinum Amex cards? So many think of them interchangeably but they really are completely different animals and we break down the differences.
There are some big card offers that are soon going to end and if you are a Delta flyer THE time to go for a new card is when there are big tasty offers and that time is running out.
Lastly this week another jet had an engine catch of fire at takeoff and this time it was a Delta 767 taking off from LAX.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone and on behalf of Chris and me thank you so very much for both reading the blog and using our links when you do go for a new travel card as it is what keeps this blog going! – René
