This past week I wish I had been on a cruise ship rather than melting in this crazy heat. I spent the week making points (see posts below) as my next cruise I want to upgrade to a balcony for free. But there was more going on on the blog – take a look:
Time is almost up to score a stunning 150,000 points from this card. Not just that, there are more perks with the new card bonus. This offer, as we talked about is ending in, not days, but HOURS and you don’t want to miss out.
Do you like cruising? I clearly do as a frequent floater. But I like being in a balcony cabin. But that can cost a BUNCH more than an interior or even an ocean view. But did you know there are ways to use points to upgrade for free? Here is how I do it.
There are a number of cards that offer you quarterly Hilton credits. The problem is, with so many credits, how do we use them all up? I simply go to a Hilton property near me and eat in the restaurant and get credit back even though I am NOT staying at the hotel. A reader even included a user maintained Google doc that shows hotels that work and do trigger the credits.
Did you stay at a hotel this year or last year? Do you plan to spend some nights in hotels? Then do you pay for them? I don’t. I use points or free night certs like the ones from these cards and you can too.
Have you never ever sailed with Norwegian Cruise Lines that is NCL? As someone with many hundreds of nights onboard NCL I give you my tips on what to do before you book, when you arrive at port and onboard the ship to make it the best vacation possible.
There is a brand new Delta Sky Club that has opened up and the views look simply amazing. Have you had a chance to visit it yet? Take a look at our review.
Here is a good topic: Do You Earn Delta MQD and SkyMiles If You Don’t Book Through Delta or With One of Their Credit Cards? Do you know the answer? We dive in.
Lastly, not to be undone by the business card offer, there is a HUGE “up to ” 175,000 point personal Platinum card offer. Why do we say up to? Take a look and see what your offer is.
Have a safe and great rest of your weekend everyone. If you are traveling during the holiday week/weekend I hope everything goes smoothly and all your upgrades clear! – René
