What happened to summer? After a week of A/C I have again, here in the South Bend area, turned my heat back on with lows near freezing (why do I live here?)! While I am working on a ton of points to go where it is warm it is not helping that much. What was “hot” this week was the blog. Take a look:
If you ask any random person in the USA what points blog do you think of that is the most known they would say TPG or The Points Guy. For years they have been one of the biggest – period! They have also been HUGE Delta Air Lines fans but you will no longer find the TPG logo on the side of Delta jets. What has replaced it? Take a look.
It seems being a top elite does not get you out of being arrested as one AA Executive Platinum found out the hard way. Yikes!
Would you consider paying less for Delta One if you got less of an experience. What if Delta Air Lines were to segment the flight to not include what you have come to expect? See what could change soon.
I am a Frequent Floater i.e. I spend a lot of time at sea each year. Having spent many hundreds of nights at sea – none of them have ever been in an interior cabin. See why you should always try to book a balcony cabin when you cruise.
Most long haul business class products on jets (no matter the airline) now offer full flat seats. But do you have trouble sleeping on these flights? Chris seems to and he may not be the only one.
Lastly we have a review of the Hyatt Regency LAX. I know a ton of readers are ultra Hyatt loyalists and if they are going to book a hotel night it will be at a Hyatt property. Is this one worth the visit?
If you are traveling this holiday weekend, either by land – sea – or air I hope you not just get where you are going but that the trip is safe, on time and uneventful. – René
