Following months of speculation, we finally know what’s happening with a signature business rewards card’s Dell and Adobe statement credits.

The Business Platinum Card® from American Express’s current Dell and Adobe perks started listing expiration dates of June 30, 2025
For Dell, card members can earn up to $200 in statement credits from January through June 30, 2025, on eligible purchases made with Dell Technologies. We’ve been able to earn up to $400 total in statement credits each year ($200 from January through June, then another $200 from July through December).
Meanwhile, Amex Business Platinum members may earn up to $150 in statement credits through June 30, 2025, for eligible annual prepaid business plan purchases with Adobe on Creative Cloud for teams or Acrobat Pro DC with e-sign for teams. Note that personal or individual plans (i.e., “only for Photoshop”) are not eligible.
But what would happen after that? Would the partnerships disappear? Would the statement credits be expanded somehow? Would Amex extend the current benefits?
Amex just gave us answers.
New Amex Business Platinum Dell Credit
Starting July 1, 2025, Amex Business Platinum members can earn up to $150 in statement credit (total) for eligible Dell purchases made through December 31 — and each following calendar year.
In other words, Amex Business Platinum members will receive up to $150 in Dell statements across an entire calendar year — as opposed to a total of $400.
They can also earn an additional $1,000 statement credit — but only after spending at least $5,000 on eligible purchases from July 1 through December 31, 2025 (and, again, each following calendar year ).
So, if you need to regularly upgrade your technology rigs with new monitors, souped-up hardware, or other gear, this change could save you a nice chunk of change.

My Quick Take on the Dell Credit Changes
The credit was great for purchasing headphones, computer cables, and smaller hardware (drives, mice, etc.)
Considering Dell offers far less than they once did (Dell once sold televisions), I give this a thumbs-down.
New Adobe Credit for the Amex Business Platinum
Good news and bad news here, amigos.
Here’s the good news: the Adobe credit will be valid across U.S. purchases made directly with Adobe. So, for people who purchase subscriptions to products such as Photoshop, Lightroom, Acrobat Pro, Adobe Express, Audition, etc., this is potentially good news.
Here’s the bad news: the statement credit is for $250 after spending a minimum of $600 in eligible purchases.
Again, this applies from July 1 through December 31, 2025, and across each calendar year thereafter.
My Quick Take on the Dell Credit Changes
For companies that actually spend $600 or more a year on Adobe products, good for them!
But for me? It’s a big non-starter. I spend $10 a month on my Photoshop and Lightroom subscriptions. I put it on a US Bank business card that gives me a $10 statement credit for charging a year’s worth of a software subscription. So, that’s where I’ll keep going. I don’t do many voiceovers anymore and rarely use Adobe Audition, so I really couldn’t care less.
Final Approach
Overall, I’m disappointed with the new Dell and Adobe statement credits. I’m keeping my Amex Business Platinum card because I love the other benefits that still make it worth the $695 annual fee. (Rates and Fees.)
But I suspect these enhancements won’t be popular with many people.
