Great for The Business Platinum® Card from American Express Cardholders!
If you hold The Business Platinum® Card from American Express Cardholders, this might be a good day to use your $200 Dell Technologies statement credit.
Amex Business Platinum members may earn up to $400 in statement credits each year for eligible purchases made through Dell Technologies. These credits are broken up in two annually: the first $200 is available from January through June. (Activation/enrollment is required to enjoy the benefit. The credits are if-used and do not roll over. Terms apply.)
Keep in mind that you can split payments at checkout! There are a bunch of Amex Offers and Chase Offers floating around for Dell Technologies purchases. If you hold the Amex Business Platinum and your purchase is more than $200, then put $200 on your Amex Business Platinum. Then put the balance on another card(s) featuring a Dell promotional offer.

Even with discounts, products sold by Dell tend to be priced higher than comparable products sold via other channels. The value of statement credits should be based on the price of the comparable products (think “opportunity cost”) as opposed to the price of the products sold by Dell. Even if a person captures the entire $400 Amex statement credit, it’s hard to say it’s actually worth $400. I hope Amex rolls out a good substitute.
@Jack – I used a number of Amex $200 credits to buy over the past year(s) Bose sound bar and side speakers. Happy to get $1,000 worth of upgraded sound plus 16% cash back on top! #Winnng
There’s already a $200/year a Hilton benefit that was added late last year.
Maybe I’m just lucky but I’ve always found something I need using the Dell credit.
