A targeted American Express Offer for Amazon purchases can score you some pretty easy bonus points. And the timing is great, considering Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals are only a few weeks away.
Amazon Amex Offer
Cardmembers can earn 1,200 bonus American Express® Membership Rewards® points after they spend $150 across eligible purchases at Amazon.com and the US Amazon mobile app. The offer expires on December 31, 2024.
The offer may be used up to three times (3,600 bonus points total)! For what it’s worth, you could spend $450 in one purchase and earn the 3,6000 bonus points. The spending thresholds are cumulative.
Terms apply and manual enrollment is required.

“I bought $150 worth of gift cards for clients, and that activated the 1,200 bonus points promotion.”. Did not the T&C exclude gift cards? How to make it work with gift cards?
Corporate gift cards. Plain ole consumer gift cards seem to work just fine.
I can’t remember when the last time was that an AMEX offer actually interested me. This Amazon offer, like so many other targeted offers, didn’t hit my card (or my wife’s cards)
