One of the stories we featured this past weekend was of passengers stealing $100,000 worth of jewelry on an MSC cruise ship. Yes, the passengers were drunk (that I am sure did not help their reasoning ability) but should they not know they are going to get caught since there are cameras all over cruise ships? Beyond that, unless you are going swimming in the middle of the ocean, there is no where to go to “get away” on a cruise ship. So stupid.

Well not to be outdone the four idiots above were not drunk but were just as dumb. On the MSC Magnifica this month they attempted to use a number of stolen credit cards in the ship’s casino.
Again, it is important to remember that any ships casinos are only open while the ship is at sea and in international waters – did these four really think they would get away with this crime and if so where would they go?
When the ship got back to Miami they were arrested and are now facing charges of fraud, grand theft, and fraudulent use of a credit card. Two are also charged with fraudulent use of identification per the Miami-Dade department of corrections.
Get this – they even used stolen credit cards to pay for the cruise itself – good grief! – René
