If you want to book a trip with Norwegian Cruise Lines (NCL), you might be able to save some money thanks to a pair of credit card promotions.
Earn $200 or $100 in Statement Credit: NCL Amex Offer
Two different Norwegian Cruise Lines Amex Offers present prospective cruisers the chance to save some decent money on an upcoming sailing (or two).
- Earn a one-time $100 statement credit after you spend at least $500 for reservations made online at ncl.com or by phone at 1-866-234-7350 on your enrolled Amex card before November 15, 2004.
- Earn a one-time $200 statement credit after you spend at least $1,000 for reservations made online at ncl.com or by phone at 1-866-234-7350 on your enrolled Amex card before November 15, 2004.
Manual enrollment is required and terms apply. Purchases must be made in U.S. sollars.
It seems the offers are available only to some people who hold American Express-branded cards. For example, the offer didn’t appear on any of our Delta SkyMiles American Express cards
My American Express® Gold Card, Blue Cash Everyday® Card from American Express, and The Platinum Card® from American Express all received the $100 statement credit offer. My mother-in-law is an authorized card holder on my Amex Platinum Card and she also received the $100 offer.
Mrs. Carley is also one of my Amex Platinum Card authorized users — and she received the $200 statement credit offer.
Both offers state that “purchases onboard, Norwegian Cruise Line gift cards, shore excursions and transportation to/from the ship” are excluded.” Though, from what I’ve heard, your mileage may vary.
Happy booking, sailing, and earning!

Can this be earned if you have a deposit down on a cruise but haven’t paid the remaining balance?
In our experience, this works!
