Uber Amex Offer
This Uber Amex Offer appears targeted to certain card members. I received it on three Membership Rewards cards (Amex Platinum, Amex Gold, and Amex Business Platinum.) None of my Delta SkyMiles Amexes featured the promotion.
Amex members who enroll their card can earn 50% back in statement credit on eligible purchases made through the Uber or Uber Eats apps. The offer expires on December 31, 2023, and terms apply.
A maximum of $25 may be earned back. Once I hit that magic number, I’ll switch back to Cap One SavorOne Cash Rewards Card because it earns 10% cashback on Uber and Uber Eats purchases for at least the next year.
I added the offer to my Amex Gold Card. That awards 4X Membership Rewards points per dollar spent at restaurants — including delivery services. So, I’ll score 4X if I go the Uber Eats route — and still earn the statement credit.

Here are a few of small-print points to keep in mind:
- The Uber Amex Offer is valid only for purchases made in the United States
- It’s not valid for gift card purchases or Uber One subscription fees.
- Other excluded transactions
- Uber Freight
- Uber for Business
- Drive with Uber
- Lime transactions.
