What in the world is going on in Marriott Bonvoy-land?
Just a couple of weeks after announcing the Marriott Bonvoy Business® American Express® Card‘s (now-expired) welcome offer, Marriott and Amex apparently wanted to spice up their two personal/consumer cards.
The Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant® American Express® Card offers 185,000 bonus Marriott Bonvoy points after you spend $6,000 in eligible purchases on the card within six (6) months of being approved for card membership. (Terms apply. This offer expires on May 1, 2024.) Read more here. The card previously offered 95,000 points. Even that’s pretty good.
Meanwhile, the Marriott Bonvoy Bevy™ American Express® Card offers 155,000 bonus Marriott Bonvoy bonus points after after you spend $5,000 in eligible purchases on the card within six (6) months of being approved for card membership. Final Approach
Marriott cranked up the welcome offers on its two personal Bonovy Amex cards — and Brilliant’s is really something. The Bevy’s is an improvement but the card itself doesn’t do a whole lot for me. That said, it’s worth checking out if you’re interested in earning some bonus Marriott points.

Who is eligible for the Bevy? Looking at all the cards that excluded from the offer, not sure would be eligible. Have the boundless and looks like I am not eligible.
Here are the Bevy’s offers terms and conditions.
It seems you can get the card — but aren’t eligible for the welcome offer. I hate that stuff.
How do you get 21X points at Marriott? The other link shows 6X, huge difference.
Earn 6X points with the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant® Card + earn up to 10X points from Marriott Bonvoy for being a Marriott Bonvoy member + earn up to 5X points from Marriott Bonvoy with the 50% = 21X.
