An English couple says they experienced a trifecta of bad experiences during their stay in the Dominican Republic.
The BBC reports that Alan and Sarah Stevens of Kingston upon Hull in East Yorkshire visited Punta Cana’s Riu Republica Hotel.
The room was decent and the food was “quite nice.”
So, what was the problem?
They claim guests were using drugs (“constant cannabis smoking”) and having sex in the pool. To top it all off: they saw a dead body. (Does this sound like a wild ‘80s movie or what?)
At least they weren’t any bed bugs, right?
Vegas Trolls Boston
The Harry Reid Las Vegas International Airport (LAS) social media team is having fun.
After several months of construction at Sin City’ts major airport, all four of its major runways are once again open and operational.
NOW OPEN: After months of continuous closures for maintenance and construction, we are happy to announce that all of our runways are open and welcoming travelers! ✈️✨ pic.twitter.com/btTiWJJxBp

But their Twitter X (or whatever) crew really had fun when a JetBlue plane with the Boston Bruins hockey team livery arrived at the airport. They also tweeted (or Xed) an Allegiant Airlines livery of the Vegas Golden Knights — who won the Stanley Cup (the NHL’s championship).
The Bruins won the Presidents’ Trophy, which is awarded to the team who scores the most points during the regular season. The VGK won something a little more prestigious.
#SpottedatLAS: Look… it’s the Presidents’ Trophy winner and the Stanley Cup champion! Awww, isn’t that cute?😘 pic.twitter.com/EDiBKvqyNC

Elsewhere
I doubt this person had any intentions of actually flying — and is getting the publicity she wants. (Guilty.)
I might have just found an amazing destination restaurant.
