Looking to save a few bucks on some upcoming Delta Air Lines purchases? MyGiftCardPlus is running a sale: 10% back in rewards for Delta gift card purchases.
Doctor of Credit (H/T) notes there’s a limit of $1,000 in purchases for this promotion.
Here’s how MyGIftCardPlus works: you first sign up for Swagbucks. (If you’re not yet a member, you can use our referral link and register for a bonus $10 reward. Thank you!)
Then purchase a gift card’s entire amount. Like, you’ll pay $500 for a $500 gift card. But, in this case, you’ll earn 5,000 Swagbucks, which you can redeem for up to $50 in rewards. I generally redeem my Swagbucks for PayPal deposits. Simple and easy.
Here’s a link to the sale. (My apologies for forgetting to add it when the post originally went up!)
Plus, this is a nice way to earn points/miles and help knock out some credit card spending requirements. (Hello, Delta Amex MQD Waiver!)
Delta gift cards do not expire. They’re valid toward purchases of Delta-marketed and -operated flights. So, if you see a codeshare option available through Delta (i.e., Air France, KLM, etc.) the gift cards should work. Airfare purchases made with Delta gift cards earn MQD, MQM, MQS, and redeemable SkyMiles.
Happy shopping, saving, and traveling!

Hey Chris,
I tried to use your referral link to sign up and got a “Sign Up Code is Invalid.” message.
Thanks for letting me know! That’s weird. Try this one: https://www.swagbucks.com/profile/r_49152491
Thanks again!
Delta GC’s are really useful to use your “airline incidental” annual credits, particularly with the AmEx Hilton Aspire $250 credit. If you pay a $500 ticket with a $250 GC and your Aspire you can tap the credit (YMMV).
Great idea, thank you!!
Does this offer have an expiration date?
I didn’t see one published. But I’m sure it’ll end sometime — I just don’t know when.
