For many many years I held the Citi Expedia Card because of the many perks it gave me and that fact that I could get the full fee back each year buying Delta e-Gift cards. Expedia used to have a fine rewards program and I often booked NCL cruises via Expedia after starting at TopCashBack to get stunning returns.
Now Citi is switching card holders over from Expedia to Citi Premier® Card and Expeida is trying to keep you as their customer with a nice gift of 10,000 points if you hurry and click the link in the E-mail they sent you.
10,000 Points is worth $100 in booking via Expedia so please check your e-mail to see if you got this e-mail or it ended up in your spam folder as you ONLY have until tomorrow night at 11:59 PT to claim the free points.
Then there is another thing to consider ASAP. The Citi Premier® is offering a sweet new card bonus and I would much rather apply today and get this card (and maybe end up with two for a while) for the 80,000 bonus ThankYou® Points after you spend $4,000 in purchases within the first 3 months of account opening vs. getting the card with NO points via the conversion. – René
