A pair of Delta Amex Offers dropped just before the holiday weekend. So, now that we’re back to reality after a (hopefully) fun and sun-soaked Fourth of July, I wanted to give bring them to your attention!
Delta Amex Offers for Flights Purchased Directly Through Delta
There are two Delta Amex Offers floating around out there. You might be targeted for both!
One gives targeted cardholders a one-time $75 statement credit after spending at least $200 on Delta flight reservations made through Delta.com, the Fly Delta app, or calling Delta reservations. Eligible flights for this offer must originate in the United States and be purchased in US dollars. (Enrollment is required and terms apply. The promotion expires September 30, 2022.)
The other offers a $100 statement credit after spending at least $350 on Delta flight reservations made through Delta.com, the Fly Delta app, or calling Delta reservations. (Enrollment is required and terms apply. The promotion expires September 30, 2022.)
The winners here are The Platinum Card® from American Express members who receive the others. That card earns 5X points for airfare purchases made through AmexTravel.com or directly through airlines. (The benefit is capped at $500,000 in such purchases each calendar year.)
Interestingly, none of my wife’s or my Delta co-branded American Express cards were targeted. Only our “straight-up” American Express cards received the offer.
Note the Fine Print
Keep in mind the offers’ exclusions and inclusions.

What about the $200 you get on your preferred airline yearly? Seems very hard to use now???

I have the Am Ex Plat card (Am Ex Delta Reserve too). I was not targeted for either offer. Poor poor pitiful me.
Where would you find the offer if it was offered to you?
Amex website: log on to your account and scroll down past your recent transactions and “refer a friend” boxes. You’ll see Amex Offers and Benefits. That’s where the offers are. You may need to tap “see more.”
Amex app: log on and tap “Offers” at the bottom of the app.
I cannot find the link to enroll for the offer. Called Amex. The customer service said the offers were still available but could not help me enroll. Can you give any suggestion? Thank you.
If your cards are targeted, you can find the offers under the Amex Offers and Benefits tab.
