Today’s the final day to vote for such awards as Program of the Year (Airline), Best Redemption Ability (Hotel), Best Customer Service (Airlines), and Best Loyalty Credit Card.
In other words, it’s your last chance to vote in the Freddie Awards!
What Are the Freddie Awards?
The Freddie Awards are like the Oscars (without the drama or vote lobbying) of travel loyalty programs. It’s named after airline industry titan Sir Freddie Laker. The awards were founded in 1988 by Boarding Area chief Randy Petersen.
“Today, Freddie Award-winning frequent travel programs are the gold standard against which all others are judged, much like Sir Freddie himself,” the show’s site says.
When is the Freddie Awards Show?
The Freddie Awards are back in person this year! They’ll be held April 21 at the National WWII Museum / The Boeing Center in New Orleans.
(I don’t think Will Smith is invited, BTW.)
Do Actual People from Actual Travel Programs Attend?
Sure do.
So Where Can I Vote for the Freddies?
–> Right here! <– But voting ends today, March 31.
