You folks living in Orlando (or who can position there from another city) get some pretty decent Delta mileage runs. We just found another good one: a trip to Los Angeles (LAX) projected to earn 8,596 MQM for just over $200!
The run flies MCO-SEA-LAX-MCO and can be knocked down in just under 24 hours. It’s a Main Cabin run, which isn’t great. But you might be able to snag a First Class upgrade if you’re already a Medallion member. Otherwise, you may have to suffer for your art MQMs. 🙂
I found September 15 available for this one.
Delta is giving 50% MQD, MQM, and MQS bonuses on flights flown through the rest of 2021. So you should end up earning 8,586 MQM, $228 MQD, and 4.5 MQS.
There are plenty of other good opportunities available through JFK and DTW for about $50 more. The $200 price is pretty tough to beat, though. That brings the CPMQM to just 2.3!

Maybe FC will be cheaper too??
The prices I saw weren’t anything exciting.
Unfortunately I only have a high interest in MQD runs at this point this year
First mileage run here! I ended up booking this, but since I could not use a FC upgrade on the way home, I added another day for $80 in price difference and was able to use a FC upgrade. I plan to use a free hotel night certificate to cover the overnight. Thanks for the heads up.
Our pleasure! Glad it worked for you — have a great time!
