This is the last ever Rene’s Points post.
In just a few hours, I flip a switch.
But don’t freak out and get all sad. (Or celebrate, hah!)
I’m not turning the switch off.
On the contrary, in fact.
I’ll turn on a brand new name and site design. (No, the site won’t be called “Chris’ Points” 🙂 )
I wanted to give you a heads-up so you’re not entirely surprised when you next visit RenesPoints.com and see something different. We expect our “move” to be complete sometime on Wednesday.
Longtime readers will likely have a number of questions. I know some people will be eager to know if René was onboard with the change — and if he’ll write for the blog anymore. I’ll address that in a separate post.
Stay tuned!
And thank you. I’m excited to have you on board the next leg of this blog’s journey.
— Chris

Onward and upward! I look forward to seeing the next phase.
Cheers!
Excited to see the new stuff Chris!
Congratulations Chris!
Excited to see what the future holds in store for you and your ‘new’ site!
Looking forward to more great work with you and Juicy Miles for your readers!
Bonne Chance!
Did Rene pass away?
Rene: you still alive?
@Chris – Think so. Tomorrow – who knows! 😉
Please don’t tell us you sold out to TPG…
Buh bye…
Oh no hope it is good news for future blogging…. we miss Rene
Gee, thanks. 😉
OMG, Rene, you totally educated so many of us on how to enjoy flying and living the upgraded dream, you were the Bible of Delta Frequent Flying…….congrats on a great column and we hope you guest post often, Cheers!
I hope the change is in the right direction and not the bowtie guy or TPG direction.
If it’s TPG you’re going to, we’ll see you back here in a few months
Please no deal with TPG or the dude with the red arrows.
@Geoff – Maybe Delta, at last, gave me a package I could not refuse? (oh the drama)!
Not if rev management has anything to say about it:(
The gang at Virginia Avenue is not very giving…
@Geoff – Oh don’t we all know that! 🙁
Please do not stop the mileage run posts!! I have kept my Delta status twice with you able assistance.
You have had a long run. Thanks for all the effort you have put forth. And, the great SWAG giveaways.
Redesign looks nice but I’d suggest taking another look at the font. Looks nice visually but the thin style makes for hard reading!
Thanks for the feedback!
The end of an era. All the best to you and René.
MJ
Thanks, MJ!
Long time reader from back in the DeltaPoints days (still have some of the cool swag from Rene), wishing the best to both you and Rene!
I like the name.
