A pair of our favorite cashback portals are offering increased awards today for purchases made on Dell’s website. This is especially important for folks holding The Business Platinum Card® from American Express and/or some other American Express cards.
TopCashback is giving members 11% back on eligible Dell purchases initiated through the portal. (Sign up now for free.) Rakuten offers 10%. (Sign up now for free.) I prefer Rakuten because my purchases seem to track better with them than TopCashback.
Stack with Amex Offers and Benefits!
Business Platinum Card® from American Express members are entitled to biannual $100 statement credits for qualifying purchases made through Dell.
The first $100 is available from January through June. The next hundred bucks’ worth is available July through December. (Activation/enrollment is required. Credits are if-used and do not roll over.)
So if you hold The Business Platinum Card® from American Express and haven’t yet used your Dell statement credit benefit, today is a great opportunity to buy something pretty and enjoy some bonus cashback.
On top of that, there are two Dell Amex Offers out there. One for The Business Platinum Card® from American Express awards a 10% statement credit on Dell purchases made through December 15, 2021. (A maximum of $1,500 in statement credit may be earned through this promotion. Manual enrollment/activation is required.)
Plus, many personal American Express cards received an Amex Offer where cardholders can earn a one-time $120 statement credit when spending at least $599 through Dell.com. (Activation required, expires July 31, 2021.)
Remember, you can split Dell purchases across three different payment methods — and really enjoy substantial savings.
An added benefit of Amazon Prime Day is that it encourages other retailers to step up their deals and other promotions. This is one example — and some American Express cardholders can reap the benefits.
