Dr. Fauci apparently spoke for the entire US government today and said it’ll not require COVID vaccination passports for people immunized against coronavirus.
Plus, Delta’s Easter Sunday meltdown continued into today.
Those are some of today’s travel-related headlines I thought you, too, may find interesting.
Dr. Fauci: No COVID Vaccination Passports
The New York Post reports Dr. Anthony Fauci “said Monday that the US government will not require Americans to use vaccine passports to prove they’ve been immunized against the coronavirus.”
But some businesses and educational facilities might set their own rules so people can prove they’re vaccinated.
Is anyone else curious what other counties may do?
More Delta Cancellations Today
We received reader messages yesterday about Delta unblocking middle seats. Not to mention flights being canceled because of various issues.
Well, the system snafu continued into today.

Until they do.
Dr. Fauci just needs to go away.
This doesn’t fit here, but the issue occurred to me tonight. Haven’t flown since January 2020. Since that time my Global Access expired, has been approved but I haven’t been to an airport for the interview needed for final approval. In addition, I went ahead and renewed my passport, and now have a new number. When I finally return to travel, what kind of problems might I run into, and how do I avoid them especially if my first trip happens to be international? I know CLEAR will be a holdup. Security checks? Customs???
Thanks for any advice you and readers can give me.
Hi, Carol. You’ll want to update any airline, hotel, etc accounts (i.e. your Delta profile) that have your passport details. And when you go to the airport for your interview, make sure to give them your updated passport info, too. I learned this one the hard way.
