Yo-ho, yo-ho! New Orleans-style Hurricane cocktails are coming to Disneyland!
Plus, travelers beware! New Jersey topped a list of most dangerous states.
Those are some of today’s travel headlines I thought you, too, may find interesting.
Hurricanes Coming to Disneyland!
The Blue Bayou restaurant inside Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland will serve New Orleans-style Hurricane drinks (read: lots of alcohol) sometime after the park reopens.
The chic, exclusive Club 33 has long served alcohol. But only recently, we unclean folks didn’t have anywhere go grab a drink. We were recently graced by Oga’s Cantina in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Now there’s a second spot for us to imbibe.
The Los Angeles Daily News reports the restaurant will serve beer, sparkling wine and Hurricane cocktails. Drink must be consumed inside the restaurant. No to-go orders on these (what do you think this is, Las Vegas?!).
(If you haven’t ever been to Blue Bayou, I highly recommend it. Their Monte Cristo sandwich is amazing.)
The LADN says the “addition of beer, wine and cocktails to the Blue Bayou menu is intended to compliment the New Orleans-inspired food and theme of the restaurant and elevate the culinary experience.”
No re-opening date for Blue Bayou has been announced.
Fuggedabout Visiting New Jersey?!
Christopher Elliot writes about a new list deeming New Jersey as the most dangerous state — based on COVID-19 outbreak potential. Rounding out the fearsome five are Michigan, Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island, and Pennsylvania.

I know Chris, I volunteer for him. Great writer and advocate! It’s interesting that some of the most dangerous States are the ones that have had the strictest restrictions.
Since they’re serving Hurricanes you really should use New Orleans as your to-go reference , rather than Las Vegas, Maybe now it really will be a fun world after all.
I know it’s “small world”, but that would’t have worked well.
