This is huge news for little kids and their families: a Peppa Pig theme park — complete with muddy puddles — will open at Legoland Florida next year.
And the Virgin Hotel in Las Vegas (I love that phrase’s irony) will initially feature free parking and no resort fees. (What a concept!)
Those are some of the day’s travel-related headlines I thought you, too, may find interesting.
Peppa Pig Theme Park Opening in 2022!

It will be a standalone park located at Legoland Florida Resort (read: separate admission required). According to its website, the “all-new theme park will feature multiple rides, interactive attractions, themed playscapes and water play areas—complete with “muddy puddles” of course—and fun live shows daily, all based on instantly recognizable locations from the globally popular brand. Families will meet Peppa and her friends as they snort, giggle and play to build their family’s first theme park memories together.”
And if you’re a grown-up Peppa fan, don’t worry. “Peppa Pig fans of all ages are welcome to come enjoy Peppa Pig Theme Park,” the site says. Ticket prices haven’t yet been announced; the park is scheduled to open in 2022.

My wife and I haven’t yet broken the news to our almost-four-year-old. She can barely wait until St. Patrick’s Day; being patient until next year would be impossible for everyone 🙂 .
Virgin Hotel Las Vegas: Free Parking and No Resort Fees! (For a While, At Least)
What is this madness?!
The Virgin Hotel in Las Vegas — which is scheduled to open on March 25 — won’t have resort or parking fees. Sin City’s CBS 8 says the company has a “No Nickle and Diming” policy.
Here’s hoping the property can compete with the nicklers-and-dimers!
