Many of us enjoy buying discount gift cards for our favorite stores, restaurants, and online services.
Bitmo — something I mentioned in yesterday’s post — is one of my favorite ways to purchase gift cards. Here’s why.
Discounted Gift Cards!
Bitmo sells e-gift cards on their app. But if you sign up for their free bitmoPerks feature, you can access special sales they occasionally run. (They’ve been offering sales every day for about the past month.)
Sales are usually something like “Buy a $25 Domino’s gift card from Bitmo & get a $5 Domino’s gift card free when using promo code…” or “Buy a $100 HomeGoods gift card in the Bitmo app & get $15 HomeGoods gift card free when using promo code…” You get the point.
Lowes, Uber Eats, GameStop, and Wayfair are some of the other brands that recently had bitmo sales.
Again, you must be a member of bitmoPerks to access these deals.
You can find out about deals by allowing alerts on your phone. Or another route is to visit a great resource for gift card information, GC Galore.
Each Sale Benefits Charity!
Bitmo donates 2% of each bitmoPerks member’s purchases to charity!
Plus, it allows members to pick a charity from several different non-profit options.
I chose Rady Children’s Hospital of San Diego. There are a variety of different charities available (veterans, nourishment, animal causes, human rights, etc). It’s very generous of Bitmo to share some of their profit.
Final Approach
Everyone wins with Bitmo: you can get discount gift cards while helping out charities at the same time! I’ve always had great purchase and redemption experiences with them — and will be a customer for a long time.
