Delta and UPS are gearing up to transport COVID-19 vaccines. Plus, the Vegas Strip’s New Years Eve fireworks are officially canceled for this year.

We’ll get to those stories and many more in a few minutes. But first, here’s a quick recap of this past week at Rene’s Points!

First things first: did you participate yet in our Halloween Swag Saturday?

Uber added more value to the American Express Platinum, Gold, and Green cards.

Expires November 1: If you need another travel charger or are buying the new iPhone 12 (which isn’t shipping with wall chargers), check out this AUKEY USB wall charger with two outputs — and save 60% with a promo code!

When it comes to credit card purchases, not all pharmacies are drugstores.

Make sure to do this vital task this weekend!

Delta cranked up the amount of points required for partner redemptions. But Global Upgrade Certificates became a little more valuable.

Hot off their elevated welcome bonus offers that expired this week and (latest) frustrating SkyMiles devaluations, Delta issued new promotions for several of their co-branded Amex cards.

Fill ‘er up! An Amex Offer for Exxon Mobil can save you 10% (up to $100!) on gasoline purchases!

You can essentially get a month and half of HBO Max free with this Amex Offer.

If you hold a co-branded Chase credit card (e.g. IHG Premier, World of Hyatt, Southwest Rapid Rewards Plus, etc.), you might be able to snag up bonus points on Amazon and grocery purchases during a special promotion!

Here’s a very simple way to get up to $10 back with an Amex card.

Combining a cash back portal and the Chase Freedom Flex℠ can save you up to 20% on Applebee’s gift card.

The Hyatt credit cards — both legacy and World of Hyatt card — are offering a $75 statement credit for stays at select properties.

Delta Air Lines is getting some attention after two separate incidents involving hearing-impaired passengers.

Given their status extensions — but ugly financial situation — René wonders if Delta will sell MQM and MQD in the coming weeks.

We’re down to the final week of the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card’s 80,000 bonus point offer.

How do you feel about airlines opening up middle seats?
