Orlando-area Delta travelers (or people who can get to MCO) might like this single day mileage run to Los Angeles (LAX) via Atlanta!

I see several midweek dates available in January and February 2021.

The trip departs MCO at 7:15 AM, connects through ATL, and gets you to LAX at about noon.

90 minutes later, you’re back on a plane and flying the reverse route, arriving at MCO just past midnight.

Delta elite mileage run: MCO to LAX on January 6, 2021.

Here’s a Google Flights link to get you started.

  • Cost: $189.60 in Main Cabin
  • Dates: Several in January and February 2021.
  • Route: MCO-ATL-LAX-ATL-MCO
  • MQM: 4,892 (3.9 CPM)
  • MQD: $166
  • Base SkyMiles: 830

We’re fans of mileage runs on Delta partner airlines. But that’s going to be tough this year and maybe even into next year. Thankfully, Delta extended status into the 2021 Medallion year, so we have a while to requalify.
