You don’t need to be a high roller to score a free flight to one Las Vegas casino-hotel.
The D Las Vegas is offering a limited number of complimentary one-way fares from certain cities for Sin City’s reopening.
Owner Derek Stevens announced the “Keep America Flying” promotion today on the company’s website.
Origination cities are:
- Appleton
- Atlanta
- Austin
- Boise
- Chicago (MDW)
- Cincinnati
- Dallas (DFW)
- Denver
- Detroit
- Louisville
- Memphis
- Milwaukee
- Minneapolis
- Oklahoma City
- Omaha
- Phoenix
- Portland
- San Francisco
- San Diego
- Seattle
- South Bend
- Tulsa
Departure dates range from June 3 to June 6 and vary by city.
Keep in mind these are one-way tickets to Vegas — so participants must find their own way home. It’s not disclosed which airlines The D is using. Only the airfare is covered; any baggage, seat assignments, etc. are a participant’s responsibility.
There’s no mention of whether participants must stay at The D or if there are any other requirements.
My wife & I stayed at The D during Frequent Traveler University Las Vegas several years ago. We’re glad we stayed there once to satisfy our curiosity. We haven’t returned.
Final Approach
For those willing and ready to travel, this is a very generous offer — even if the cities and number of available fares are limited.

Feels like Allegiant given the small airports served, although some do not match.
