A recent trip (my last before coronavirus lockdown) to London allowed me a quick visit to the Plaza Premium Arrivals Lounge at London Heathrow T4 after arriving on a Delta flight from JFK.
Where Is the Plaza Premium Arrivals Lounge at London Heathrow T4?
You’ll find it on T4’s Mezzanine level, across from the Yotel. It’s just a couple of minutes — if that — from the Tube station.
My friend, Rick, and I specifically chose this lounge for a couple of reasons:
- We flew Main Cabin from JFK to LHR — and Rick’s not Platinum or Diamond Medallion, so the Virgin Atlantic Revivals (read a review) lounge wouldn’t let him in (unless he paid £30. No, thanks.).
- We stayed at the Holiday Inn London Heathrow T4 (read my review)Â and the Plaza Premium Arrivals Lounge was conveniently located a few minutes’ walk from there.
Gaining Entrance to the Plaza Premium Arrivals Lounge
We used my Priority Pass Select membership, which is complimentary with cards such as the Platinum Card® from American Express, the Business Platinum Card® from American Express, and Chase Sapphire Reserve. The cardholder and up to two guests may enter for free.
The Plaza Premium Arrivals Lounge — First Impressions
The staff is very friendly and welcoming, as well. Showers are available for those who need to freshen up.
Inside the lounge itself, there’s plenty of seating (considering it’s an arrivals lounge) and a conference room, as well.
Not every seat has USB ports or electrical outlets. So make sure you have a good travel adapter handy if you score a spot that has an outlet.
Food
A buffet with hot food options, some salads, and dessert is available.
There are infused water and blackcurrant juice available. Or if you prefer something different, head to the bar.
We planned an afternoon and evening of walking around London. So that was my excuse for going carb-heavy. 😉
True to English form — and I don’t say that disparagingly — the food leaned toward the bland side. I don’t like spicy food and even the chicken cacciatore was platable to me.
The restrooms were very clean and nice. (And special thanks to the restroom attendant who seemed to wonder Who the heck is this weirdo taking pictures of the bathroom?)
Final Approach
Nothing exciting — but certainly a good place to freshen up and grab a quick bite. The staff is great, the food is palatable and it’s a good space to catch your breath and regroup. If you need a pitstop before heading into the city and have Priority Pass Select, this is definitely worth considering.

Nice review Chris. I was wondering if this was different than the T2 arrivals lounge.
@Matthew: Thanks! It is —- when I was at the T2 lounge in 2018, there was a menu from which one could order food.
