The United States Department of State just dropped a Level 4 travel advisory — which means “Do Not Travel” — for its citizens across the world.
If you’re a US citizen who happens to be visiting a foreign country and hasn’t yet come back to the States: time’s a tickin’.
“In countries where commercial departure options remain available,” the advisory states, “U.S. citizens who live in the United States should arrange for immediate return to the United States, unless they are prepared to remain abroad for an indefinite period. U.S. citizens who live abroad should avoid all international travel.
One naturally wonders how long it may be until domestic travel is shut down.
