Delta announced tonight the suspension of service from LAX to Sydney (SYD). Plus, several more routes will be suspended, as well.
Los Angeles to Sydney
The airline says the final flight from LAX to SYD departs tomorrow, Tuesday, March 17. The return flight on Thursday, March 19 will mark the last Delta trip between the two airports until at least April 11.
Aruba
Delta flights from both Boston and Minneapolis-St. Paul to/from Aruba will be suspended this Saturday, March 22. The routes will resume this coming winter. (The final flights between the BOS-AUA and MSP-AUA depart and return Friday, March 21.)
Atlanta and New York flights to AUA won’t suspend until Thursday, March 26. (The final flights between the ATL-AUA and JFK-AUA will operate Wednesday, March 25). That service is scheduled to resume April 1.
Guatemala
The Atlanta to Guatemala City suspension has been pushed up to tomorrow, Tuesday, March 17. Delta originally announced the route’s suspension for March 23 — but the Guatemalan government slapped travel restrictions into place. The route will hopefully resume on April 20.
Honduras
Delta flights to Honduras are suspended immediately.
However, daily service from Atlanta to Tegucigalpa/San Pedro Sula is expected to resume on March 23. Saturday-only service from Atlanta to Roatan will fly again on March 28.
Panama City
Atlanta to Panama City is suspended from March 22 through March 31. The final flights between the two cities operate on March 21.
Peru
Delta flights to Lima are suspended tomorrow, Tuesday, March 17, through March 31.
