“Whatever can go wrong, will,” is a saying many of us know — especially when it comes to travel. That was the case last night for Delta Air Lines flight 148 from Las Vegas (LAS) to Paris (CDG).
The 777-200 took off from Vegas at 12:40 PM PST on Thursday. Several hours later, a “vibration” was reported.

The plane diverted just before reaching Newfoundland and arrived to Boston Logan at 9:26 PM EST. (FlightRadar24 says the aircraft was ship N864DA.)
But the flight’s problems weren’t over: WHDH reports a passenger suffered an undisclosed emergency. I look on the interwebs and wasn’t able to find what exactly the medical problem was or the afflicted passenger’s condition.
Another aircraft (apparently N860DA, which was ferried from ATL) took the passengers to Paris and departed at 3:00 AM. They arrived to CDG at 2:46 PM local time.
Passenger Jona Kallgren tweeted the “@Delta crew and staff handled the situation very very well. Calm, friendly, professional” before adding, “They think it was something with a bust air-conditioning pipe but not really clear.”
