Here’s a nice Delta weekend elite mileage run from the Los Angeles area to London Heathrow — and one sparing you the mess at LAX.
This trip departs the quiet, quaint Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) on Friday, November 8, connects through Atlanta, and arrives Heathrow on Saturday morning. Christmas markets will be open — which will give you something fun and seasonal to explore during your day in London.
The return leaves LHR on Sunday morning at 8:40 AM, connects in Amsterdam, then Atlanta, before arriving at 9:05 PM in Burbank.
All flights are aboard Delta metal except the short LHR-AMS hop. That’s a KLM 737-800.
