I had a BE ticket for Saturday that was going to be wasted due to a conflict. Instead, I got a credit to use for a future DL flight due to the weather waiver. I called DL to book a future flight in regular economy and was told that a BE ticket can only be used as a BE ticket on the future flight. I protested to a supervisor that it is now DL currency for any future DL flight in any class of service and I won.
