Wow Delta said that so diplomatically lol. Sometimes I wish companies were just brutally honest. As in, “we realize our Comfort + seating is just a coach seat with mildly better service whereas our partner treat Premium economy as a true experience differentiator. So to avoid having partners book people into what they think is equitable product when it’s really a downgrade, we will reclassify the seat to what it actually is.” And done.
Rene, it seems people aren’t reading the fine print regarding Basic Economy… I’m of two minds on this topic. Read and understand the issue. And maybe BE isn’t such a good idea in the first place…
