@Rene, promotion touts “up to a maximum 10,000 MQMs”, but unless bonus miles are the same as MQMs, Hilton’s T&C seem to limit earnings at a max of 7750 MQMs. Here’s how I reached this opinion:
From this year’s “Stay and Earn Miles with Delta Air Lines” promotion T&C published by Hilton, “…and (4) complete a minimum 2‐night stay at a hotel or resort within the Hilton portfolio from November 1, 2017 through December 31, 2017. Check out must be on or before December 31, 2017.”
Using those date parameters, we can count all possible ‘minimum 2-night’ stays Bob (our hypothetical Skymiles member) could complete during the promotional period: Bob’s first qualifying stay would have him checking in no later than Oct 30, and checking out on Nov 1; Bob would check back in on Nov 1 for another 2-night stay, rinse-repeat until Bob checks out on Dec 31. This gives Bob a total of 31 possible qualifying 2-night stays…31 x 250 [MQMs per qualifying 2-night stay stay] = 7750 max possible MQMs Bob can earn through this promotion.
7750 MQMs are nothing to leave on the table if staying at Hilton properties during the promotion period…just hope Bob is aware the MQM earning limit for this promotion seems to be not quite “up to” what Hilton advertises 🙁
@Mark – Or just get a Delta Platinum or Reserve card and meet the min spend! 😉

I wonder if this promotion wasn’t prepared for a three month run, but start date got pushed back for whatever reason…that would make sense for the (not attainable) higher limit promoted in their marketing.
Can anyone answer for me if the minimum two night stay has to be a paid stay, or if the 250 MQM bonus is awarded if the stay was paid for with points?
