Looks like a very boring color scheme. Why did they just not put the Super Diamond Biz seat in? those Thomson seats look awful, especially in the upright position. Im not spending 160K-240K SkyPesos for that junk. I can use 110K miles to use AMEX points one way on SQ in First Class.
any idea where the 350 may be making some domestic practice runs? United recently used its new 773ERs on fairly random domestic routes for a few weeks before graduating them to international. I could imagine something like ATL/SEA or ATL/LAX, for instance, replacing 767 service that operates on those routes from time to time.
@edward – It seems like, by all wordings, there may not be any with paying passengers until the real inaugural flight.
@James – Those mods can not come soon enough but think it will take a while as most new seats first going to the A350s coming online this and next year.
Three things stand out:
1. The business-class seats are narrow. Like 767-narrow.
2. I find it ironic that the middle section of premium-economy is four seats while the middle section of economy is three seats. Delta could have at least separated the four middle seats into two pairs with some sort of partition between the second and third seats.
3. The economy-class seats look lightly padded for 14-hour flights.
Let’s hope this design is tweaked before the next order of A350s. Personally, I think that’s why Delta postponed its next order. It wants to get design flaws fixed.

Is it just me or those coach seats look very narrow?
@M – You are not the only one (they are 18″). More scary to me is the small 18.5″ size of the PS (ie PE) seats. You can see the full specs at Delta.com here: https://www.delta.com/content/www/en_US/traveling-with-us/airports-and-aircraft/Aircraft/airbus-a350.html
I’m looking forward to the review of the new plane should be interesting. Also,any idea when Delta’s hoping to start/finish retrofitting the 777’s?

2-4-2 in economy but 3-3-3 in premium? Seems dumb that
@Stevese- other way around
