This past weekend I spent several days in Hong Kong but I forgot to bring a wall power adapter from US to Hong Kong outlets (ooppssseee). But it was no big deal because I had my fully charged 20k massive battery brick I just love. I recharged my phone day after day after day and still had over 33% power when I got home. Love that.
Now Amazon has a sweet price on a Gatcepot 15000mAh Power Bank for just over $10 <-LINK. That is a lot of power for a decent user reviewed power brick.
Do notice the standard black is a little bit more than this flamboyant gold colored unit but I think I really like that as it would be less likely to be missed when you are packing etc.
Anyway, we all need power when we travel and to get a high capacity source at prices like these is just amazing and it may be worth picking up a few extras to have a spare one always charged and ready to go (ie switch bricks from your travel bag to a fresh one) or even to give away as gifts to your favorite frequent flyers! – René

Learned something new about amazon today… I had put a silver and a gold one in my cart this morning when I saw this post, and got side tracked with work. Later when I saw the update to the post stating the deal was dead, I followed the link to find the higher prices. I then proceeded to my cart where I was able to purchase at the original low prices, since I had put them in my cart at the deal price.
Lesson learned, when in doubt, add the item to your cart anyway!
