I really meant to blog about this Enterprise $9.99 per day offer back in August when it came back, but since it is valid until May this round I though it would be good to pop-up another quick deal post with the details. I have taken advantage of this deal in the past and it is a solid value.
There are some issues like not all locations will honor the offer (think all airport locations) but thankfully there are, most times, Enterprise locations not far away from an airport and you can take a quick UBER or LYFT to the location to pick up the car.
My example above is a fun ski weekend in Utah. You may say: “But such a small car for skis”? I say: “Not a problem”! I just toss on my Ski Hikers on the car and off we go to the slopes. I have used these for years and they work great as you can see below!

For me, this has always been one of those deals that exists on paper but not in reality. Most neighborhood Enterprise locations near me don’t participate at all. The closest location that does is 10+ miles away, and even worse is that it has limited mileage restrictions and/or language like “must keep the car in the state surrounding states to avoid voiding the contract” On top of that, only economy/compact cars quality for the promotion and there’s not guarantee of an upgrade.
At the end of the day, the airport rental car places often have weekend deals just as good that aren’t limited to the tiniest cars or mileage restrictions.
This deal rocks it says all neighborhood locations , not one has ever turned me away with this promotion. Also when they were low on compacts they would give me a truck which i preffered same price except that licenseing recovery fee was more. Not that that mattered anyway. Also they give you 75 bonus points on every weekend rental at a neigborhood enterprise . I absolutley am addicted to this deal . Now that its over im going thru withdrawls lol .

Doesn’t Enterprise specifically advertise that they’ll pick you up? Why Uber it?
@Christian – Drop off at airport is one thing, pick up is another. They have to honor airport locations
