Hmm, That connector at LAX has been open for a long while. I used it back in March…not exactly new.
That’s great news about DCA. Delta doesn’t have any directs to the DC area from LAX right now, so the fact that we’re getting a couple AND that it’s the easiest airport into the city is awesome.
I agree with Aaron that the connector from T4 to TBT has been open and in continuous use for at least six months. Very strange to have “opening ceremonies” now. Maybe the mayor just has a busy schedule.
I would not go out of the way to use the LAX KAL priority pass/skyteam lounge. The agents can sometimes be finicky about who they let in and the food and beverage selection is weak. Unless you just want to enjoy the view from the terrace overlooking TBT, the SkyClub is better and probably more convenient.
