Last Sunday I motivated you with the chance to win a $25 Carrabbas gift card along with a number of HOOU or Delta “Have One on Us” coupons. I have selected my top ten favorite submissions (and maybe tweaked them just a little bit) and now I would like you to vote for your one favorite from this list. I know it is a hard ask as a number of these are just outstanding!
I had a number of ideas that I thought were also equally funny, but since I can’t win my own contest I will just share my personal top ten Delta focused ideas for “The Most Interesting Man in the World” when flying Delta:
- Air Force One goes into a holding pattern when his flight is landing
- He always books from 1990’s award charts
- Delta blocks an entire row of C+ for his upgrade after 16May16
- He has a private snack basket even on 100 mile flights
- His SkyMiles do not expire when he dies, not that he ever will
- He’s offered a bump voucher even when he’s the only one on the plane
- He has his own Dos Equis Uber icon in the app
- He never has anything to declare even when he does, CBP just doesn’t ask
- His annual choice benefit is 1000 Global Upgrade Certificates
- He was offered Richard Anderson’s job, but retirement was better
Yes, he is “The Most Interesting Man In The World”! Next Sunday we will see who you decide has come up with the absolute best slogan to send the beloved Dos Equis spokesman on his way into travel retirement. – René
